Subject Zookeeper backward compatibility

Hi guys,
Is zookeeper 3.4.5  backward compatible with zookeeper 3.3.5 ? . If so
kindly point  to the documentation where the backward compatibility is
explained in detail.

We are in a situation where our client need to  use zookeeper 3.4.5 api  to
connect to zookeeper 3.3.5 ( running service ).

Any info on this will be of great help.
