From: Chad Harrington To: zookeeper-user@hadoop.apache.org Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary=000e0cd3326e8f0ccc0463e0f3df X-Virus-Checked: Checked by ClamAV on apache.org --000e0cd3326e8f0ccc0463e0f3df Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit We are investigating Ensemble and a key question came up: How does one add a server to a running ensemble of Zookeeper servers in a 24/7 environment? If I have a 3-server ensemble and traffic grows to the point where I need another 2 servers, how do I add them without shutting everything down and restarting?
