Hello Roman,

you might take a look at UBY, a large-scale lexical resource for natural language processing
(NLP) based on the ISO standard Lexical Markup Framework (LMF), see http://code.google.com/p/uby/

The UBY database dump (http://uby.ukp.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/uby/) offers uniform access
to 8 freely available lexical resources:
English WordNet, Wiktionary, Wikipedia, FrameNet and VerbNet, German Wikipedia, Wiktionary,
and multilingual OmegaWiki.

The resources Wiktionary and OmegaWiki list many word classes other than nouns, verbs and

Please contact uby@ukp.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de for an upgraded version of the UBY database
dump which will be available soon.

Hello dear uima user,

is there any Wordlist or Database that is freely accessible. I am currently using WordNet
3.0 and it is really nice. But it has only the word types (Adjective, Adjective_satellite,
Noun, Verb and Adverb). Is there any database that distinguishes between Verbs and Auxiliary
Verbs for example or includes other word categories like determiner, prepositions etc.
Any hint is very appreciated.

Thanks in advance
