Windows displays this as [::] in=0D=0Aaccorda= nce with IPv6 addressing guidelines where you can omit leading=0D=0Azeros a= nd empty address segments. In Windows, the IPv4 "any" address is=0D=0Aalway= s displayed as 0.0.0.0, which is not coming up in this instance.=0D=0A=0D=0A= So the question is, why is APR only setting up the IPv6 address in this=0D=0A= case and not the IPv4=3F I have to specifically give the connector the=0D=0A= IPv4 "any" address in order to get this to work.=0D=0A=0D=0AIs there any wa= y to tell Tomcat/APR that I want to default to IPv4=3F It=0D=0Adoesn't app= ear that I can remove the IPv6 protocol from the Windows 2008=0D=0Astack.=0D= =0A=0D=0AJeff=0D=0A=0D=0A-----Original Message-----=0D=0AFrom: Caldarale, C= harles R [mailto:Chuck.Caldarale@unisys.com]=20=0D=0ASent: Monday, June 08,= 2009 10:19 AM=0D=0ATo: Tomcat Users List=0D=0ASubject: RE: Windows x64 Ins= taller=0D=0A=0D=0A> From: Jeffrey Janner [mailto:Jeffrey.Janner@PolyDyne.co= m]=0D=0A> Subject: RE: Windows x64 Installer=0D=0A>=20=0D=0A> IPv6 protocol= is disabled on the active network connection.=0D=0A> So it shouldn't be an= IPv6 issue.=0D=0A=0D=0ABut it clearly is, since your netstat output shows = IPv6 addresses, not=0D=0AIPv4.=0D=0A=0D=0A - Chuck=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ATHIS CO= MMUNICATION MAY CONTAIN CONFIDENTIAL AND/OR OTHERWISE PROPRIETARY=0D=0AMATE= RIAL and is thus for use only by the intended recipient.
