Subject [jira] [Commented] (TEZ-2967) Vertex start time should be that of first task start time in UI
Date Wed, 24 Feb 2016 10:32:18 GMT

Sreenath Somarajapuram commented on TEZ-2967:

bq. No. When there are 20-80 vertices in a DAG cannot keep opening each vertex page to see
when it actually started. The current vertex start time is useless as it is same as DAG start
time. It needs to be replaced with when the vertex actually started running.
The Vertices table ~ You need not open each vertex, just check the "First Task Start Time"

bq. Even the task start time is incorrect.
~ That is a bigger change, and calls for fixing the backend for making the start time more
accurate. Will look into it.
