If you are thinking of going with mercurial you could do tha= t same with svn... have a separate repo for each project and only add users t= o the repos they should have access to.

There is no secret here. We are just an enterprise that needs to have some modicum of access control. Which sounds like will be restored shortly. But = as I read your dev's discourse, this bug has rightfully introduce questions in t= he user community about how this bug could be allowed, and why it has lingered= for so long!

We love svn, it has been used in our organization for 2 years, and has performed flawlessly. Keep up the great work!
