Could you run a test of both HEAD (httpd v2.1) and the most recent CVS of
APACHE_2_0_BRANCH and tell me if there is any difference - another whole lot of
patches just went in.

A fix went in to stop the segfault when the cache was switched off, you should
no longer see the segfaults in the above latest versions.
