Konstantinos Karanasos commented on YARN-5180:

Thanks for the new patches [~asuresh], and for the feedback [~kasha] (I agree with what you
guys discussed above).

Some final minor comments on the patch:
# Thinking more about it, do we want the newInstance() of the ExecutionRequestType to be false
or rather true, that is, by default ensure we do provide the client with the execution type
she requested.
# In the {{ExecutionRequestType}} we might want to use {{enforceExecutionType}} instead of
{{ensureExecutionType}}, but this is really minor so up to you.
# Please make a quick pass over the top-level java-doc comment of the {{ExecutionRequestType}}
class (e.g., ResourceRequests -> ResourceRequest, Scheduling Authoriry -> scheduler

> YARN-2882 introduced the concept of *ExecutionTypes*.
> YARN-4335 allowed AMs to specify the ExecutionType in the ResourceRequest.
> This JIRA proposes to add a boolean flag to the ResourceRequest to signal to the Scheduler
that the AM is fine receiving a Container with a different Execution type than what is asked.
