Hi Paul,

Not sure if it would help you. I have following git alias:

```
[alias]
        rmmerged = !sh -c \"git branch --merged | grep -v '^* master$' | grep -v '^  master$'
| xargs git branch -d\"
```

Also we might want to change the setting for repository to delete merged branches.
