quick code to get avalable port from another project :

    {ok, Ip} =3D inet_parse:address("127.0.0.1"),
    {ok, S} =3D gen_tcp:listen(0, [{ip, Ip}]),
    {ok, Port} =3D inet:port(S),
    gen_tcp:close(S),


obviously first line could be ignored if you pass the right ip tuple
(here ip was dynamic).
