I am pleased to announce Optiq release 0.8.

Optiq is now an Apache podling, but this is not an official Apache release.
There are a few steps we need to go through first, which might take a few
weeks. Our Apache mentors agreed to making this unofficial release so that
we do not lose the momentum we have created with our monthly releases.
Hopefully this will be the last unofficial release, and there will be an
official apache-optiq-0.9-incubating release towards the end of July.

This release contains 45 commits from 3 contributors over 5 weeks, and
fixes 17 jira cases and numerous other issues.

You can find the pre-built jars at the conjars repository:

The official source code repository is now
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator-optiq.git, but is
mirrored to https://github.com/apache/incubator-optiq for those of you who
feel at home on github. (https://github.com/julianhyde/optiq still exists,
is no longer where the action happens.)
