Subject [jira] [Updated] (ZOOKEEPER-1884) zkCli silently ignores commands with missing parameters
Date Fri, 01 May 2015 00:26:07 GMT

Raul Gutierrez Segales updated ZOOKEEPER-1884:
    Attachment: ZOOKEEPER-1884.patch

More generally, zkCli was not issuing warnings when the command existed *but* the number of
parameters was wrong. This patch changes things so that usage() is called if there's no match
(regardless of the command being known or not).

> Apparently, we have fixed this in trunk, but not in the 3.4 branch. When we pass only
the path to create, the command is not executed because it expects an additional parameter
and there is no error message because the create command exists.
