Subject Parsing Question

I apologize of the attribution is 'weird', my mail client is seriously
confused by the encoding used - but it offered 'syphrix' as an
attribution so I used it :)

You can parse and build a generic XML DOM tree with any
conformant XML parser (for example Xerces). However, as with any XML
flavor, none of the SVG specific DOM will be available, and of course
don't expect to get a rendering out of Xerces :)

However if you are just interested in walking the tree, finding
particular elements, modifying attributes, adding and removing
children, through the generic DOM interface there is no problem.
