Transcoder is an interface. The transcode method represents the ''contract'' 
a transcoder must follow.

The SVGTranscoder is a transcoder dedicated to pretty printing.
Another transcoder such as the PNGTranscoder is a transcoder that produces a 
PNG image for a particular SVG document.

All the transcoder in Batik can be manipulated using the Transcoder 
interface. They all have the methods you have seen in the Transcoder.java
