           Summary: The print size of svg documents is smaller than
                    expected.
           Product: Batik
           Version: 1.6
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: SVG Viewer
        AssignedTo: batik-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
        ReportedBy: yzstone@hotmail.com

I tried print some svg documents using batik 1.6 but the print size was smaller
than expected.

Example svg document:

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="no"?>
<!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1//EN"
  "http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11.dtd">
<svg id="mapLayout"
  width="8.5in"
  height="11.0in"
  viewBox="0 0 612.0 792.0"
  preserveAspectRatio="xMidYMid meet"
  xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" version="1.1">
  <rect x="0.5" y="0.5" width="611.5" height="791.5"
   stroke="#000000" stroke-width="1" fill="#f0fff0" />
</svg>

Expected print size: 8.5 x 11 inches
Actual print size: 6.375 x 8.25 inches (roughly)
Printer: Adobe PDF Converter (Acrobat Pro 6)

Thanks.
