Subject setting a property value
Date Mon, 08 Nov 2004 17:14:22 GMT
I'm seeing a very odd problem with XMLBeans 1.0.3. I'm trying to edit a
property on a user object:

user.getContactInfo().setWorkNumber("512-555-1212");

I print the object out before and after the set. The relevant property
looks like this:

Before:
<wapi:workNumber xsi:nil="true"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"/>

After:
<wapi:workNumber xsi:nil="true"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">512-555-1212</wapi
:workNumber>

So it seems like the element both has a value and is nil at the same
time!? The element is defined like this in my schema:

<xs:element name="workNumber" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>

What am I doing wrong?

mike
