Remy would know more, if he's reading the lists today, but my understanding
is that one of the weaknesses of the JAX-RPC spec is that it doesn't provide
an interoperable way of having custom marshallers.  So probably the custom
codec that was put together for WLS won't apply to other JAX-RPC
implementations.

I'd like to have other custom marshallers for using XMLBeans for other
JAX-RPC implementations, but I don't know if any have been built yet.
