Thanks Paul that did help.

Ones question though what if I define:

<xsl:template match ="img">
  <img xmlns:html="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40"
xsl:use-attribute-sets="img-attributes">
  <xsl:apply-templates/>
  </img>
</xsl:template>

But I don't define the attribute set. Will the processor ignore it or crash?
