Subject Getting involved by contributing code or documentation
Date Fri, 13 Sep 2002 18:18:32 GMT
I've been asked a few times in private e-mails how to contribute to Apache
SOAP. The short answer for those of you who secretly harbor such ambitions
is...

1. Get the code from the CVS repository: http://xml.apache.org/cvs.html
2. Make changes, build and test
3. Post your changes as a patch: http://xml.apache.org/source.html

If there is a particular feature you will be working on, please post it to
the soap-dev list in case others are working on the same thing. Generally,
good things to work on are features you've discovered you need, features
someone on the mailing list expresses a need for, or features of the SOAP or
Attachments specs that have not been implemented.
