Subject [ANNOUNCEMENT] Sirvisetti AppTalk Server using Axis 1.1
Date Wed, 02 Apr 2003 22:59:41 GMT
Hi all,

Sirvisetti Systems is very happy to announce that the recently released
AppTalk™ Server 3.1.0 is now using Axis 1.1.

AppTalk™ Server is a Web Services Development and Integration platform
built with Open Source products like Axis.

The primary use of Axis is for SOAP implementation on AppTalk™ Server.
Axis provides the SOAP wrapper around our WLP (WAPI Logic Pages) and
exposes them as Web Services.

Within AppTalk™ Server, we are using our IDE, ServiceStudio, to develop
WLP. ServiceStudio’s suite of tools reduces the amount of code required
to build new Web Services.

Using ServiceStudio developers do not need a deep understanding of how
to develop Web Services. ServerStudio internally generates the wrapper
around WLP, generates the WSDL and deploys the service on the Axis
engine as server side Web Services.

WLP modules can be built using JSP, JS, Python and XSP.

More information about AppTalk™ Server or any other Sirvisetti products
can be found at: http://www.sirvisetti.com or drop me a note at

Thank you,
David Klein
