Subject how to put and get utf-8 characters from mySQL db through XSP
Date Thu, 10 May 2001 11:11:02 GMT
I've got one form to enter some data. These data are parsed by XSP page and
stored into mySQL db (using JDBC driver). Unfortunately, instead of any
national character from the page form , I found only question mark in the
database table.
I've got utf-8 encoding in XSP and HTML sectins in cocoon.properties as well
as utf-8 in XML/XSL page.
Do I need to convert national character(s) retrievied from POST in XSP
before I save it. If so, how can I do that ??
Precious clues are welcome ...
