Subject RE: ANNOUNCE: dom4j 0.4 released
Date Tue, 29 May 2001 14:50:24 GMT
Thanks a lot. I downloaded dom4j, it does allow me to create a new document
from scratch. However, based on the given sample code, I still need to hard
code the element name, attribute name, ... how can I build the xml DOM tree
based on a given DTD file? You have any sample code indicating this feature
of dom4j?

Thanks again and have a nice day.

dom4j is an easy to use, open source Java library for working with XML.

dom4j combines the best of DOM, SAX, XPath and the Java Collections
Framework to provide a flexible and powerful toolkit for working with XML
optimised to take advantage of the Java platform.

The new 0.4 release and further documentation can be found at:-

http://dom4j.org

This release includes

* a new more flexible & powerful event notification mechanism

* alpha XML Schema Data Types support

* many optimisations

* a variety of bug fixes

James
