Subject XSLT Question
Date Mon, 14 May 2001 08:46:07 GMT
Using XSLT, I want to produce XML that displays a sorted subset of a XML
tree where duplicates entries are removed.

For example, the following XML :

<list>
  <generator>
    <techno>HCMOS6</techno>
    <volt>2V5</volt>
    <name>SPS2</name>
  </generator>
  <generator>
    <techno>HCMOS7</techno>
    <volt>2V5</volt>
    <name>SPS2</name>
  </generator>
  <generator>
    <techno>HCMOS6</techno>
    <volt>2V5</volt>
    <name>SPS3</name>
  </generator>
  <generator>
    <techno>HCMOS7</techno>
    <volt>1V8</volt>
    <name>SPS3</name>
  </generator>
</list>

Would return the list of used techno/volt sorted by techno/volt :

<list>
  <type>
    <techno>HCMOS6</techno>
    <volt>2V5</volt>
  </type>
  <type>
    <techno>HCMOS7</techno>
    <volt>1V8</volt>
  </type>
  <type>
    <techno>HCMOS7</techno>
    <volt>2V5</volt>
  </type>
</list>

Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Xavier
