I had already read that article. It only refers to the "global" UDDI servers
at Microsoft and Ariba and the IBM UDDI4J server that relies on DB2.

Granted I could use that as a start - but I am more interested in a UDDI
server that does not rely on a certain database and could be used in an
organizational environment. Can the UDDI4J server be configured for other
data-sources?

But again I suppose this is off-topic for the xml.apache lists.
