Subject is it possible to overide default encoding for DOMParser
Date Tue, 23 Jan 2001 15:44:59 GMT
Hi,

I have a customer that is dealing with an xml document generated in UTF on an NT-Box. This
document goes through a bunch of crazy processing and eventually ends up on an OS390 machine
in EBCDIC format. The document is then passed to the DOMParser; which of course is by default
anticipating an UTF encoded document...

Is it possible to change that default expectation of the DOMParser; such that I do not have
to hack the xml document with an encoding attribute?

Many thanks in advance..
Tom
