Hi Manoj,

The TX Compatibility API has never been part of Xerces, it was decided
long time ago to discontinue support of these set of API's.

The reason that was given is that they used proprietary ( non-standard) API 
extensions.

Since then the parser architectures (old xml4j ibm versions 2.x.x vs xml4j 
3.x.x ) have diverged.

Latest Xerces-j parser is Xerces 1.2.1
