I assume your using Xerces as your XML parser (which is bundled with
Xalan). I'm using Xerces 1.2.0 and it copes quite happily with documents of
up to 2Mb in size.

Subject: URGENT! Parsing XML documents over 300KB - possible?

Hi folks,
we are currently testing an XML-View component that might well have to deal
with XML documents up to 10MB during it's life. Tests, however, seem to
suggest that the Xalan parser will give up if the document it receives is
bigger than 300KB. I'm using Xalan-J 1-0-1 on NT.
Thanks in advance,
