/ "Fischer, Oliver" <plexus@snafu.de> was heard to say:
| today I tried to use the resolver written by Norman Welsh together
| with xalanJ. I created a CatalogManager.properties and all the other
| things. Although I doesn't work. I am sure I missed something, but
| what?

Sorry it's taken me a while to reply. I'm still maintaining the code,
but I was on vacation for a week and then buried under thousands of
emails :-)

| How can I debug or trace the usage of the resolver? I need somethings
| like; found CatalogManager.properties or not, resolving this and
| that....

You can turn up the debugging level. The test programs, xread and
xparse have command line options to do it, or you can do it in the
properties file (or with a system property).

Crank the "verbosity" up to four or five and you'll see just about
everything the resolver does.

| Any hints?

Let me know if you're still having trouble.

                                        Be seeing you,
