I doubt that Xerces provides any feature for parsing of DTDs. You could
alternatively have a look at the DTD parser developed by Mark Wutka
available at www.wutka.com/dtdparser.html

Getting the values in a choice element is not as straight forward as
"getPossibleValues(person,married)" though :)
