Yes, -no-undefined was removed from GCC 4.6. The workaround would be to
build Xerces-C++ like this:

./configure
make libxerces_c_la_LDFLAGS="-release 3.1 -no-undefined"

In the next release we should actually add -no-undefined to AM_LDFLINGS
in the Makefile.am.
