So, you're using Visual C++ .Net 2003?

I admit I'm also frustrated by how the "workspace" paradigm in 6.0 has 
been twisted into the "solution" paradigm of the .Net development

I've been building my own binaries for use with Xalan-C++ for months 
without any issues.
