If the samples build >fine check out the linking line for one of them and see what library they >are linking to. > > >Gareth > Yes, that was it - in version 1.6 you used "-lxerces-c1_6_0", but in version 2.1 it is only "-lxerces-c" When the .so file is called "libxerces-c.so.21.o", I guess the thing you have to give as argument to -l is everything between "lib" and ".so", in this case "xerces-c"?
