"project" sounds like you're using Eclipse.

If so, you need to make sure that the jarfile containing the extension is 
on the Build Path for the project which is actually invoking Xalan. That 
may require a cross-project reference.

(Simple classpath issue. The jar needs to be on the classpath.)

Hi,

Is it possible to call Java extensions taken from jar file?
If so, could you explain me how?

For the moment I am using the syntax
xmlns:addons="com.logging.XalanAddOns"
But it only works if its within the same project.
