Hello Adam,

this is fine.

there have been other upload requests concerning Eclipse done with JIRA, with unfortunately
different groupId and artifactId.

MAVENUPLOAD-264	eclipse jdtcore update	Fixed	Torsten Curdt	11/21/2004 20:25	3/24/2006 17:29
MAVENUPLOAD-653	Eclipse WSDL and XSD	Fixed	Guillaume Nodet	12/28/2005 13:12	3/24/2006 17:28
MAVENUPLOAD-591	pom for eclipse osgi	Fixed	Dain Sundstrom	11/13/2005 1:11	3/24/2006 17:30
MAVENUPLOAD-652	Eclipse EMF 2.1.1	Fixed	Guillaume Nodet	12/28/2005 8:50	3/24/2006 17:29
MAVENUPLOAD-368	Please upload Eclipse SWT 3.0.1 libraries	Fixed	Kenney Westerhof	4/22/2005
4:10	3/24/2006 17:29
MAVENUPLOAD-1080	Upload org.eclipse.jdt:core:3.2.0.666 to ibiblio	Fixed	Matt Whitlock	8/24/2006
2:43	8/30/2006 11:16
MAVENUPLOAD-1081	Upload org.apache.jakarta.commons:commons-jci-eclipse:3.2.0.666 to ibiblio
Won't Fix	Matt Whitlock	8/24/2006 2:45	8/24/2006 15:34
MAVENUPLOAD-847	Please update to JDTCore3.2.0_v_658	Duplicate	Mark Proctor	4/19/2006 10:14
4/19/2006 22:20
MAVENUPLOAD-834	Please update to the latest stable version.	Fixed	Torsten Curdt	4/11/2006
23:13	4/18/2006 0:06

for instance of these upload requests had this :

  <groupId>org.eclipse.jdt</groupId>
  <artifactId>core</artifactId>

but in the URL http://repo1.maven.org/eclipse/

the artifactId for the same is org.eclipse.jdt.core

Conclusion : the definition of the POMs and the upload requests should come from Eclipse,
not from users.

Would someone on this list want to contact Eclipse to define a procedure ?

Ideally, they should check in their POMs and prepare bundle jars for all their artifacts when
they do a release, as part of their build process.

Regards,

Antoine
