I thought that within Apache, we were going with group names that
indicate what PMC has oversight.  There was talk of restricting
permissions in the repo by unix groups.

Then there is the general rule that you should control the domain name
that matches the groupId.

IMO, all signs point to 'org.apache.ant' being the right choice for groupId.
