As that seemed fine by Noel, I've gone ahead and asked Joe to make the directories. Policy on said repositories is pretty unknown at the moment. I've said that it shouldn't be for snapshot releases or 3rd party; ie) they should still use the snapshot repositories for that. The aim is not for it to be rsync'd to ibiblio - they want people to have to actively use the incubating repository and not just pick the bits up from ibiblio. This means we have another pair of repositories that we are hosting as opposed to rsyncing to ibiblio, again with low bandwidth expectation. I suspect I've stepped on Joshua's toes there - sorry Joshua I wasn't thinking. If we find that the bandwidth is surprisingly high, then I think we should talk with general@incubator about a need to rsync to ibiblio. Otherwise we should see how it goes and it can be another example to learn from with respect to Stefano's previously raised topic of hosting a full repository ourselves. Hen
