Subject RE: Sun JARs and Gump

You can now get kosher versions a lot of the Sun API jars (most of the
ones that are part of J2EE) from Geronimo's spec jars repo (i.e.
http://www.apache.org/dist/java-repository/geronimo-spec/jars/).
activation and javamail are both there.

|
| I know we can't have sun jars in the big public repository,
| but is there any way for us to serve them up at their
| well-known locations in Gump?
|
| that way I can have a build that grabs them from an in-house
| repo when I do a local build, but on a gump build they get
| pulled down on demand too. After all, gump has things like
| mail and activation as pre-installed dependencies.
