I will just stick to my prev. mails. Stuff like "How do I mirror
www.apache.org and java.apache.org ?"

Maybe do some net test (I will look into this myself) and say (est.) how
much overhead/bandwidth is used by rsync vs ftp vs cvs (or is it csv ?!?)

That would be nice !
