Unfortunately there is no way around that, 99% of all the other apache
mirror sites actually have the /dist/ function on their mirror website

This is the way it was setup when I took over the project for some reason,
and I don't have the authority to change it.

Regards

Andrew

Subject: Mirror uniandes.

Dear Andrew,

It seems there's a problem with the mirror cgi
(http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi) we appear as
http://apache.uniandes.edu.co/dist <http://apache.uniandes.edu.co/dist>
instead of http://apache.uniandes.edu.co/, I don't know if you could fix it
up.

Also the link between the Universidad de los Andes and the Internet has
improved a lot.

Than you,
