It's a really old version (v2.2) that isn't even linked on their website anymore, though the file was still on their servers (usually, we've had cases in the past where it's been temporarily removed or moved). Anyway, it looks like they finally removed it for good. Due to the licensing, we've not been including ext-js with Oozie itself, and it's use is optional. The Oozie documentation has been linking to the 3rd party's website to download ext-js. Now that the link is no longer working, we're trying to figure out a solution for users wanting to get it. I imagine that we can't host a copy on the Apache Oozie website, right? Cloudera also has a copy on its website, and we've discussed linking the Oozie docs to there. Can you comment from a licensing perspective on both of these options? Any other ideas? Here's the contents of the license.txt file from ext-js for reference: {noformat} Ext JS - JavaScript Library Copyright (c) 2006-2008, Ext JS, LLC All rights reserved. licensing@extjs.com http://extjs.com/license Open Source License ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ext is licensed under the terms of the Open Source GPL 3.0 license. http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html There are several FLOSS exceptions available for use with this release for open source applications that are distributed under a license other than the GPL. * Open Source License Exception for Applications http://extjs.com/products/floss-exception.php * Open Source License Exception for Development http://extjs.com/products/ux-exception.php Commercial License ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the appropriate option if you are creating proprietary applications and you are not prepared to distribute and share the source code of your application under the GPL v3 license.
