[~rdblue] all I can say is: I agree that your request is reasonable insomuch as it falls into
the gray area and thus you're absolutely entitled to explicitly ask to legitimize the practice.
I can also add, that typically in legal situations where the gray area is attempted to be
legitimized a burden of proof is typically on the one pushing for legitimacy.

This was raised on a new project that we're beginning to incubate (Airflow). I asked INFRA,
and they suggested that I ask LEGAL as well as the board.
