Subject [jira] [Created] (LEGAL-237) Small Scale deployment in a corporate environment
Date Wed, 24 Feb 2016 14:01:18 GMT
Ben Rich created LEGAL-237:

Summary: Small Scale deployment in a corporate environment
                 Key: LEGAL-237
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-237
             Project: Legal Discuss
          Issue Type: Question
            Reporter: Ben Rich

To whom it may concern,

I work in a rather large corporate hospital, we are currently running Microsoft office, it
works well, except for the thin client machines we have running in our library. We are looking
to scale down our image and make things run a little smoother. After discussion with other
technicians here, we decided that Open Office may be a good replacement, but we are not sure
of the legalities or licensing issues we may run into in deployment to the library.

We have 25 machines that we would like to deploy to, are there any kinds of licensing issues
we may have?

I read through the license 2.0 and found nothing on corporate environments in terms of licensing

I appreciate your time.
