Be happy then! This was discussed at length, feel free to ask me for 
pointers if you wish.

Summary: you know where your testers community is. The policy assumes it 
to be on the dev list, but if the users list is where your potential 
testers hang out AND it is crystal-clear to them that these are not 
official releases, then go on.

Still, you cannot have a public download page with two equally presented 
options, say "stable" and "bleeding edge", where one is a release and 
the other one isn't. Avoiding any confusion between a release and a 
snapshot is the rationale of this policy.
