Subject Re: Question about licenses in the Apache BookKeeper project
Date Thu, 19 Jun 2014 13:09:59 GMT
Just pigging here, since I got no feedback so far about this request.

To give some more detail, this question has been triggered by the following output of the
rat tool:

Unapproved licenses:

 ./CHANGES.txt
 ./bookkeeper-server/src/main/java/org/apache/bookkeeper/proto/DataFormats.java
 ./hedwig-client/src/main/cpp/aminclude.am
 ./hedwig-client/src/main/cpp/m4/ax_boost_asio.m4
 ./hedwig-client/src/main/cpp/m4/ax_boost_base.m4
 ./hedwig-client/src/main/cpp/m4/ax_boost_thread.m4
 ./hedwig-client/src/main/cpp/m4/ax_doxygen.m4
 ./hedwig-client/src/main/cpp/m4/gtest.m4
 ./hedwig-protocol/src/main/java/org/apache/hedwig/protocol/PubSubProtocol.java
 ./hedwig-server/src/main/resources/p12.pass

Thanks!

answer for a couple of questions about licenses in our project as we are preparing the release:
