Subject [jira] [Created] (LEGAL-194) Donation of PojoSR to Apache Felix
Date Wed, 05 Mar 2014 14:45:45 GMT
Guillaume Nodet created LEGAL-194:

Summary: Donation of PojoSR to Apache Felix
                 Key: LEGAL-194
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-194
             Project: Legal Discuss
          Issue Type: Question
            Reporter: Guillaume Nodet

PojoSR (https://code.google.com/p/pojosr/) is a small project for which the authors would
like to donate the code to the Apache Felix project.

The code has been developped by Karl Pauls (a few minor commits by Angelo van der Sijpt).
Both are already Apache committers (respectively on Felix and Sling).

Given the authors already are committers, and given the code is not owned by a legal entity
(so I don't think a software grant applies), what's the process from a legal point of view
to incorporate the code (provided the PMC has agreed and voted on the donation) ?
