This is great, but as [~sebb@apache.org] says, this can only be a workaround. Maven users would need to configure each of their existing jobs to execute that plugin after maven-javadoc-plugin. The best thing would be that maven-javadoc-plugin just directly uses that patch code internally after each goal execution.
