AIUI the 'legal' issue is all to do with whether the license meets the ASF conventions for
included software.
Not sure the Oracle lawyers are relevant here, unless they can be persuaded to release the
code under a more ASF-friendly license, e.g. AL 2.0
While they are about it, perhaps they should fix the bugs as well! (two files are not closed,
even if no Exceptions occur; there are lots of other issues)
