Subject RE: Apache 2 and MPL 1.1 Compatibility
Date Tue, 26 Mar 2013 01:35:00 GMT
Legal advice is not necessary. There is an ASF policy with regard to MPL 1.1 code in ASF releases,
<http://apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-b>.

Short Version: MPL 1.1 source code is not permitted in ASF releases. Binary dependencies
are possible (and the source must be available somewhere else upstream to satisfy the license
on the binary).

It doesn't sound like there is an exception situation here.

Hi Daniel,

Thats right this integration is offered part of a GSoC project [3] and we intend to incorporate
the contributions into Airavata code base if license is compatible.

Thanks,
Suresh
