Subject [jira] [Commented] (LEGAL-92) Someone attached a pointer to a patch at github to a JIRA at Codehaus: can I take it?

Sam Ruby commented on LEGAL-92:

The relevant questions are: do you believe that it was authored by this individual and was
intentionally submitted?

In this specific case, I see a 5 line patch provided by somebody who authored it themselves
and by someone that has been involved with the community for a number of years

The only thing that would make me feel more confident is an ICLA on file. Given that we are
talking about 5 lines I see no need for such in this instance.

> Maven's jira is still at codehaus, and this submitted just left a trail of breadcrumbs
pointing to a patch at github. Can I take it, or do I need to get the submitter to do something
positive to submit it?
