FWIW, the code was originally written by
where he provides some details of ownership of the code being 
transferred to the authors of cocoaasyncsocket alright.

This code also depends on and includes 
http://code.google.com/p/cocoalumberjack/ that reports to be 
BSD-licensed per its home page

And I am not sure that it matters: the cocoalumberjack code contains 
comments about a certain fruit brand that may be a bit rough :
